As a Corporate Initiatives Drafter and Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the expansion of a multinational organization by improving workplace functionality for thousands of employees worldwide. This brand new position reports directly to the Vice President of Real Estate, providing you with the opportunity to engage in meaningful design and drafting work. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting field surveys and producing detailed drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) based on these surveys. You will collaborate with various levels of management, as well as outside architectural and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) resources, to create conceptual designs and plans for office building tenant improvement projects. In your day-to-day activities, you will conduct office building site surveys and create as-is/current state floor plans and drawings of existing office spaces. You will work closely with management, architects, and MEP professionals on preliminary conceptual office design sketches. Additionally, when not engaged in surveying or drafting tasks, you will support the Corporate Initiatives team with building-related project efforts. This includes overseeing assigned operational tasks of mid-level complexity through to completion, serving as a contact for the team or specific function, and identifying areas for improvement. You will also be responsible for recommending and implementing proposed solutions in collaboration with management, supporting the growth of the business through various projects, and creating and developing documentation for the group while adhering to group and firm procedures. Handling confidential documents properly will also be part of your responsibilities.
