About the position

The position requires applicants to work on-site from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The company provides 100% on-the-job training for the first 1-2 weeks, ensuring that new hires are well-prepared for their responsibilities. After the training period, CAD Drafters will join a team led by a Quality Control Specialist, where they will engage in drafting work using AutoCAD or MicroStation. This role is ideal for candidates who have a high school diploma or GED and possess a desire to work in a long-term drafting role. While prior experience with CAD is beneficial, it is not mandatory, making this an excellent entry-level position for those interested in developing their skills in this field.

Responsibilities

• Complete AutoCAD or MicroStation drafting work under the guidance of a QC Specialist.
• Participate in on-the-job training for the first 1-2 weeks to learn necessary skills.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and accuracy in drafting tasks.
• Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• High School diploma or completed GED is required.
• Experience using CAD to some extent, or a strong interest in learning CAD software.
• Desire to work in a drafting role long-term.
• Open to learning new software and techniques related to drafting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's Degree or certificate in CAD is a bonus.
• Experience with ESRI ArcGIS is a bonus.
