About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer-aided design (CAD) and will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support our engineering and design projects. This role requires proficiency in drafting cabinets, trim pieces, molding, doors, windows, stair banisters, and more.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design technical drawings and plans
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into accurate drafts
• Utilize CAD and other drafting tools
• Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, including specifications and reports
• Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and project guidelines
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements or modifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate's degree in a related field
• 2D animation CAD Certification
• Proficiency in CAD and other drafting tools
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting techniques relevant to cabinets and millwork
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot design issues effectively.
