About the position

The CAD Drafter position at Belcan involves creating and modifying technical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD, primarily for the Ponca City Refinery. The role requires collaboration with engineers and designers, ensuring adherence to design standards and project procedures while functioning with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Pick up redlines from Designers in AutoCAD
• Pick up redlines (Schematics & P&IDs) from MOCs to support Document Control
• General AutoCAD work for Design Team
• Work under the direction of Engineers and Designers
• Set up CAD environment including libraries and layers
• Use Ponca City Refinery's design standards and project procedures to create project drawings including Schematics, Isometrics, P&IDs, Building layouts, equipment layouts, cable tray/pipe routing, Pipe schedules, Installation Details and Bill of Materials

Requirements

• 1-5 years of experience in Drafting
• Worked in a similar capacity
• AutoCAD knowledge
• Basic computer/PC skills
• Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge
• Must be able to function as part of a project team
• Able to interact and work with a diverse work group (Mechanical and/or I&E Designers, Engineers, Contractors)
• Basic knowledge of Process & Instrumentation Symbology
• Knowledge of Drafting standards, methods, and practices
• Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment
• Must be able to perform field walk downs

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using Falcon
• Experience in SAP
• Associate Degree in Design, Drafting or Engineer Tech
