About the position

SQUAN is seeking a motivated and dedicated CAD Drafter to join their Engineering/Drafting department. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals new to the field to develop their CAD skills while supporting design and engineering teams by creating detailed technical drawings, diagrams, and layouts based on project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise CAD drawings, layouts, and models using AutoCAD or similar software
• Work closely with senior drafters and designers to understand project requirements and specifications
• Make adjustments to drawings as required based on feedback from design engineering teams
• Ensure that all drawings adhere to industry standards and company quality guidelines
• Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and address issues that may arise during drafting
• Produce quality work in a timely manner
• Willing to work in a team setting in office at Conway, AR five days a week
• Flexibility to adapt to industry/client changes
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment

Nice-to-haves

• Additional certifications or coursework related to telecommunications and CADD
• Prior internship in CAD drafting
