About the position

The CAD Drafter will be responsible for preparing CAD designs for deployment by cleaning up existing designs, ensuring accuracy, and creating detailed drawing 'MAPS' for field use. This role requires proficiency in AutoCAD and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members in the field.

Responsibilities

• Receive CAD designs and clean them up, ensuring there are no interferences.
• Add layers to the design to support deployment.
• Put the designs in a format for construction.
• Take items from the library, cut them, and place them with attention to detail.
• Support deployment efforts and provide drawing 'MAPS' to the field for deployment, installation, and integration.
• Create live documents accessible to team members in the field.
• Collaborate with team members who will be using these MAPS.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with 2D CAD designs
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum of an AA degree preferred
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
