About the position

The Engineering Program Manager (EPM) role at Apple focuses on supporting the Silicon Engineering CAD organization. This position requires a blend of technical expertise in silicon CAD design flows and strong program management skills to drive project schedules and resolve issues across multiple projects. The EPM will work closely with hardware technology teams, CAD, design, and technology teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment across various initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive high-level achievements by focusing the CAD team on meeting near-term landmarks and unblocking technical issues.
• Run and track project schedules by driving high-level achievement execution in a dynamic core technology team.
• Responsible for daily and long-term project management tasks.
• Participate in early planning of new projects as well as resourcing and scheduling.
• Assist with development of and ownership for tracking new project schedules and resource metrics.
• Drive weekly schedule and communication meetings with upper management.
• Ensure effective project schedule and dependency communication with the design team.
• Roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get things done.

Requirements

• BS degree in a relevant field with 10 years of relevant experience.
• Chip design and/or CAD flow knowledge required.
• Experience in front-end (Logic design, Synthesis, DV or DFT) or back-end (PNR, STA, LVS, DRC, Extraction) CAD Tools/Flows.
