As a CBRE CAD Manager, you will oversee a team responsible for the design and preparation of electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for projects of all sizes. This role is integral to the Design function, where you will be tasked with preparing and producing proposals and planning applications for both internal and external partners. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that the team meets its objectives and maintains high standards of quality and customer service. In this position, you will provide formal supervision to employees, which includes monitoring their training and development. You will conduct performance evaluations and coaching sessions to help your team members grow in their roles. Additionally, you will oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees, ensuring that the team is well-staffed and equipped to handle the demands of the projects. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating and managing the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules, assigning tasks, and cross-training staff to enhance their skills. You will set and track staff and department deadlines, ensuring that all employees adhere to company rules, policies, procedures, and regulations while meeting established productivity targets. As a leader, you will implement, establish, and meet departmental and company goals aimed at improving business outcomes. You will prepare budgets and perform inventory control measures to ensure accurate accounting for expenditures and resources. Identifying problem areas and working to implement effective solutions will be a key part of your role, as will contributing to team efforts to achieve desired results. You will lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values, and influence parties of shared interests to reach agreements. Your knowledge of your subject area and its integration with others will be essential in achieving team and departmental objectives, as will your ability to troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues that may arise.
