About The Position

The CAD Operator will play a crucial role in the development of CNC programs and setup instructions for various CNC machines, including punch press, brake, and laser machines. This position requires a blend of technical skills and practical experience to ensure efficient production processes and timely project delivery.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with Autodesk Inventor or other CAD software
• At least 3 years of CAD experience
• Strong communication and computer skills

Responsibilities

• Generate SMP programs for CNC punch press, brake, and laser
• Prepare detailed tooling and setup instructions
• Run production on machines to meet customer ship dates and project deadlines
• Assist with operator training
• Provide setup and programming support for repeat productions
