About the position

Encino Energy is seeking a CAD Technician / Drafter to join our team in Carrollton, OH. This full-time position is integral to our operations in the oil and gas sector, specifically focusing on the design and drafting of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), layouts, and 3D designs for upstream and midstream facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating 2D layouts of upstream facilities, collaborating closely with engineering and construction teams to solicit input and make necessary revisions. Additionally, the role involves creating 3D designs for upstream facilities and fabrications, utilizing piping specifications to generate associated Bills of Materials (BOMs). The CAD Technician will also conduct field walkdowns to verify dimensions and update as-built drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. This position requires a proactive approach, as the candidate will work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to confirm that facility layouts do not impede drilling, completions, or plug drill-out operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the upstream/midstream industry, document control practices, and engineering workflows, enabling them to effectively support our construction and engineering teams. Encino Energy is committed to providing a supportive work environment that values diversity and inclusion. We offer competitive compensation, an annual bonus opportunity, and a comprehensive benefits package that starts from day one, ensuring that our employees' needs are met from the outset. This role requires a willingness to travel, with expectations of approximately 50% travel to field locations or field offices, and a company-issued vehicle will be provided for this purpose.
