About the position

PSA Airlines is proud to introduce its Cadet Program, designed to facilitate a seamless transition for aspiring pilots from academic training to real-world flying. As one of the first regional airlines to launch such an initiative, PSA aims to nurture the most promising future pilots by providing them with comprehensive support and opportunities. The Cadet Program is available at select universities, colleges, and flight academies, ensuring that candidates have access to the resources they need to succeed in their aviation careers. Eligibility for the program begins once candidates complete their Private Pilot Certificate. Successful applicants will undergo an interview process with PSA to secure their position as a Cadet. The program offers numerous benefits, including mentorship from industry experts and internship opportunities that provide invaluable experience in the aviation field. Upon completing their Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) training, Cadets can advance to the role of Cadet Instructor, which comes with significant financial support, including up to $5,000 in partial tuition reimbursement as they accumulate flight hours. Additionally, Cadets will have their ATP-CTP Course covered by PSA, valued at $5,000, once they meet the minimum flight experience requirements. The airline also provides hotel accommodations and ground transportation during the ATP-CTP course, ensuring that candidates can focus on their training without logistical concerns. Once Cadets reach the necessary qualifications, they will be placed into the next available class at PSA without the need for an additional interview. This streamlined process is designed to facilitate a smooth transition into a career with PSA, which is known for its rapid upgrade times and a direct flow-through agreement to American Airlines. New hires at PSA can expect to flow to American Airlines after just six years, making this an attractive opportunity for aspiring pilots.
