About The Position

Our client in Saline, MI is looking for a CAE Engineer. This is a contract position.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineering or Biomechanical Engineering Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years' employment experience in Crashworthiness CAE using LS-Dyna.
• Front or Side Impact Experience is ideal.
• Strong analysis, communication, and documentation capabilities.
• Experience with CAE led design and negotiating countermeasures.
• Project leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mesh and build Crash safety CAE models.
• Analyze structural performance of CAE results.
• Create recommendations to improve performance of vehicle structure.
• Create documentation and negotiate countermeasure implementation into design drawings.
• Setup and conduct component testing.
• Incorporate component test results into full vehicle CAE to improve accuracy.
• Plan and conduct full vehicle evaluations to confirm performance predictions are achieved.
