About the position

As a Café Ambassador at Capital One's Brickell location, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for café goers and customers. Your primary responsibility will be to introduce customers to Capital One's best-in-class services, fostering memorable experiences that drive brand awareness. This position is not just about providing great customer service; it’s about building connections and helping individuals on their financial journeys. You will engage with customers proactively, assisting them with tech challenges, showcasing innovative services and products, and facilitating deeper conversations about their financial goals. In this role, you will also guide customers through goal setting, advocating for financial literacy by utilizing Capital One resources. Collaboration is key, as you will work alongside a dynamic team of Ambassadors, inspiring and supporting each other in creating thoughtful customer experiences. Continuous learning is encouraged, and you will have opportunities to develop new digital and technical skills. Additionally, you will partner with local businesses, nonprofits, and charities to plan community events, further enhancing your engagement with the local community. Volunteering and advocating for financial literacy will also be part of your responsibilities, making this role not only rewarding but also impactful in the lives of others.

Responsibilities

  • Bring the Café experience and brand to life by creating an inclusive environment for all customers and team members.
  • Proactively engage with customers and the community in all areas of the Café, assisting with tech challenges and showcasing services and products.
  • Guide customers through goal setting and advocate for better financial literacy using Capital One resources.
  • Collaborate with a team of Ambassadors to inspire and support each other in creating thoughtful customer experiences.
  • Stay curious and adaptable, with a desire for self-development and learning new digital and technical skills.
  • Partner with local businesses, nonprofits, and charities to plan events inside and outside of the Café.
  • Volunteer within the community and advocate for financial literacy.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience

Nice-to-haves

  • Associate's degree
  • 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience
  • Proficient in G-Suite
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
