About the position

As an Operations Specialist at Capital One, you will leverage your operational, analytical, and interpersonal skills to ensure the efficient operation of cafés, ultimately enhancing customer service. You will support the leadership team in driving operational excellence across a designated geographic area, focusing on continuous process improvement and effective communication with café associates. This role involves monitoring compliance, providing guidance, and fostering relationships with key partners to enhance operational processes and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the leadership team in driving Operational Excellence for a group of cafés.
• Achieve desired results through attention to detail, problem solving, and clear communication with café associates.
• Remain up-to-date on operational and audit processes while ensuring alignment with customer experience.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and focal point for communication regarding operational effectiveness and compliance.
• Provide emergency and active incident support to assigned cafés and elevate issues as necessary.
• Conduct reviews on assigned cafés to help meet regulatory and operational performance objectives.
• Utilize operational metrics and analytics to identify control weaknesses and processing issues.
• Collaborate with partners to mitigate losses and enhance operational processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 2 years of retail operations experience.
• At least 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
• Proven experience in project management, process management, or business analysis.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree or military experience.
• At least 3 years of bank operations experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• At least 1 year of experience creating monthly business reviews or reports based on trends.
