About the position

As a Cafe Ambassador at Capital One, you will play a crucial role in fostering community connections and enhancing customer experiences within the cafe environment. Your primary focus will be on engaging with customers, promoting financial literacy, and creating an inclusive atmosphere that reflects the Capital One brand. This position offers opportunities for personal and professional growth while working alongside a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Bring the Cafe experience and our brand to life by helping to create an inclusive environment where all customers and team members feel welcome
• Proactively engage with customers and the community in all areas of the Cafe
• Guide customers through goal setting by meeting them where they are and advocating for better financial literacy
• Be a team player and work with an energized team of Ambassadors
• Stay curious, adaptable and have a desire to learn and grow through self development
• Continually learn new digital and technical skills
• Partner with local businesses, nonprofits, charities, and the Engagement team to plan events
• Volunteer within the community and be an advocate for financial literacy

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Certification
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales or Customer Service experience

Nice-to-haves

• Associate's degree
• 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience
• Proficient in G-Suite
• Strong written and oral communication skills
