About the position
The Cafe Assistant-Catering and Front House role at Tyler Technologies involves supporting catering operations and maintaining the front of house area. This position is essential for ensuring a clean and organized environment while delivering quality food service to clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the catering area, including drinks and coffee station.
- Delivering food according to the planned schedule.
- Working with the team to ensure there is enough food for the group.
- Preparing desserts.
- Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the storage shed and other common areas.
- Stocking all items as needed throughout the day.
- Recording ordering needs, primarily items stored in the storage shed.
- Putting away dry goods and beverages when delivered.
- Ordering beverages.
- Maintaining the storage shed.
- Helping with other areas of the cafe as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience required.
- Experience in a food service setting desired.
- Ability to prepare a large volume of food in a short time frame.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
