About the position

The Cafe Food Server position at Wildfire Casino and Lanes is a multifaceted role that combines the responsibilities of a Busser, Food Server, and general table maintenance. The primary duties include taking food and beverage orders from guests and accurately inputting them into the computer or register system. Servers are responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to the guests' tables efficiently and ensuring that the dining area remains clean and well-maintained. This includes managing the cleanliness of tables, dinner plates, flatware, beverage glasses, and other dining essentials. Additionally, servers will complete assigned side-work and any other tasks as needed, while also monitoring the cleanliness of their assigned station, including floors, to keep the area free of debris. Knowledge of the menu, beverages, food preparation, and pricing is essential for this role. Servers will be expected to utilize suggestive selling techniques to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Adherence to all cash handling and compensation procedures in accordance with company policies is mandatory. The position requires a minimum age of 21 and a strong background in customer service. Candidates must be able to manage their time effectively with minimal supervision and be flexible with their work schedule, as the job may involve various shifts and part-time hours.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Nice-to-haves

  • One to two years of previous culinary experience is preferred.
