About the position

The Cafe & Juicery Worker at Farm To Barn Cafe and Juicery is responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages in a health-focused environment. This part-time role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting, ensuring a clean and sanitary workspace while adhering to recipes and standard procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food, juices, and smoothies for take-out service, following recipes and standard procedures.
• Clean and maintain service areas, including sauce bowls, cutting boards, and workstations.
• Assist with cleaning all areas related to food preparation, including storage rooms and main floor areas.
• Perform light cleaning duties such as mopping and dusting as assigned.
• Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate the buzzer system to notify customers when their order is ready.

Requirements

• Must have availability to work on Sundays (every other weekend).
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
• Ability to read and understand recipes and standard operating procedures is required.
• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must have some customer service skills.
• Must have basic knife skills.
