About the position

The Cafeteria Associate Relief at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service in the cafeteria setting. This position is responsible for engaging with customers, preparing and serving food, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining areas. The associate will work cross-functionally in various roles including cashier, food preparation, and food service, ensuring that all customer needs are met efficiently and respectfully.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and maintain quality of hot or cold food items.
• Stock food items and disposables as assigned.
• Follow and complete daily job routine and cleaning assignments.
• Verify that products have accurate signage and pricing.
• Keep the cafeteria and dining areas clean and organized.

Requirements

• Prior cash handling experience preferred.
• Prior food service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
