About the position
Sayreville School District is looking for a part-time Food Service Worker who will be responsible for performing numerous tasks related to cold and hot food preparation, service, and ware washing. This position follows the school schedule, making it ideal for those looking for part-time work that allows them to influence the future generation.
Responsibilities
- Prepares hot and cold food items according to standardized recipes, which can include cutting, washing, weighing, and measuring all food items used.
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
- Utilizes all HACCP and food safety procedures to ensure the quality of food being served.
- Cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- At least 1-year experience in food service, preferred OR willing to train the right candidate.
- Team-player a MUST.
