About the position
The Cage & Player Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Cage, Player Services, and Sports Wagering. This role focuses on ensuring a favorable gaming experience for guests while maintaining safety and security for both team members and guests. The supervisor will also be involved in staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Cage operation, Player Services, and Sports Wagering.
- Ensure guest service and handle relations and disputes to enhance the gaming experience.
- Maintain safety and security for team members and guests.
- Facilitate programs to control and reduce loss time injuries.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings and metrics.
- Delegate duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
- Complete and process performance reviews for team members.
- Assist in the development of team members and participate in hiring and coaching processes.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to safeguard gaming assets and funds.
- Communicate Cage activities and promotions to frontline team members.
- Work weekends and holidays as needed.
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in cage operations and supervision.
- 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and Race and Sportsbook Employee License.
