About the position
The Cage & Player Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Cage, ensuring excellent guest service, and managing team members to create a favorable gaming experience. This role involves supervising staff, handling guest relations, and maintaining safety and security within the gaming environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the Cage operation, Player Services, and Sports Wagering.
- Ensure guest service and manage relations and disputes to enhance the gaming experience.
- Maintain safety and security for Team Members and guests.
- Facilitate processes to control and reduce loss time injuries.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings and metrics.
- Delegate duties and assign responsibilities to staff, completing performance reviews.
- Develop Team Members through coaching, hiring, and retention processes.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures to safeguard gaming assets and funds.
- Communicate Cage activities and promotions to frontline team members.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in cage operations and supervision.
- 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license and Race and Sportsbook Employee License.
