The Cybersecurity and Product Development Manager at Carthage Area Hospital is a pivotal role within the IT department, responsible for overseeing the development of software products and ensuring the security of IT systems across the organization. This position requires a strong leader who can manage a team of programmer analysts and cybersecurity analysts, driving product innovation while implementing robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information. The manager will work closely with various stakeholders, including staff, physicians, and vendors, to ensure that the organization's IT systems are secure and efficient. The role demands excellent communication skills, as the manager will be required to interact with all levels of the organization. The position is full-time, operating during day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and is based in a general office environment where the majority of the workday is spent indoors. The manager will also be responsible for additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the IT department and the hospital's mission to provide quality healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of software products within the organization.
• Ensure the security of IT systems across the hospital.
• Manage the programming team and drive product innovation.
• Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information.
• Interact with all levels of staff, physicians, and vendors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Supervise programmer analysts and cybersecurity analysts within the IT department.
• Provide indirect oversight over other IT staff as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management or associated discipline, or an Associate's Degree with six years of progressive experience, or ten years of progressively responsible experience.
• Three years of progressive experience in a related field.
• Experience in Health Care systems is preferred.
• Demonstrates good written and verbal communication skills.
