Cake Decorator

About the position

We're looking to hire a full-time cake decorator for our BUSY Baskin Robbins located in the Belmont Shopping Center in Wimauma. This can be a perfect job for someone who likes creating things, working with colors and doing artistic designs. This job can offer a lot of flexibility as, after your training and probationary period, as long as you're keeping up with the orders, we can work with you on scheduling. The role involves building and decorating cakes, communicating with customers to ensure order accuracy, and maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized cake prep area. You will also be responsible for ensuring that display freezers and cake supplies are well-stocked and working with other decorators to fulfill all orders on time.

Responsibilities

• Manage the production of cakes and prepared ice cream treats, and take pride in maintaining a beautiful and well-stocked display case.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized work area.
• Adhere to all Baskin-Robbins dessert decorating quality standards, as well as safety and sanitation regulations.
• Prepare specialty cake orders.
• Manage cake, icing, and decoration inventory.
• Review videos on new cake and ice cream items as added.
• Prepare all cakes and ice cream treats to Baskin-Robbins specifications and standards.
• Help out in the front of the store if it gets busy and your assistance is required.

Requirements

• Cake decorating experience, preferably with ice cream cakes and treats.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Creative and artistic abilities.
• Proficient in use of all cake decorating tools and equipment.
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in baking (1 year preferred).
