About the position
As a Cake Decorator at Sam's Club, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional member service in the bakery area, ensuring high-quality decorative designs on bakery items while adhering to food safety standards. You will collaborate with team members, leverage digital tools for efficiency, and drive the performance of the bakery to meet member expectations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to educate associates on tools and tasks.
- Plan bakery productions ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of designs.
- Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with various decorating tools.
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines.
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize bakery equipment.
- Drive performance in the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards.
- Assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Model high-quality service and products as a brand advocate.
Requirements
- 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
