About the position

Anduril Industries is seeking a Calibration Specialist to join our Quality Engineering team. This role is pivotal in managing our internal calibration program, ensuring that all calibrated devices across our local factories in Santa Ana and Costa Mesa, as well as forward deployed and test sites, are maintained to the highest standards. The Calibration Specialist will be responsible for overseeing calibration activities, managing tracking software, schedules, and ensuring the accuracy and precision of equipment. This position requires a hands-on approach, working closely with engineering, production, and vendors to ensure accountability for calibration results. The Calibration Specialist will manage a comprehensive database that tracks the location and ownership of tools, communicate calibration recalls to tool owners, and ensure that equipment rotations do not hinder production. The role also involves creating infrastructure for equipment flagged for calibration, documenting standard operating procedures, and coordinating calibration activities with third-party vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for training internal stakeholders on calibration processes and managing risk assessments for products affected by tools found out of calibration. As Anduril continues to grow, this role will evolve, providing opportunities for professional development and the chance to contribute to the establishment of a robust calibration program. If you are passionate about quality assurance and have a strong background in calibration processes, this position offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you can make a significant impact.
