About the position
The California State Certified Electrician position at CAM Industrial Solutions involves working in a collaborative environment focused on safety and continuous improvement. The role requires a skilled individual who can read and interpret electrical schematics, troubleshoot PLC ladder logic, and repair various electrical equipment efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience with AC/DC drives and a strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Read and troubleshoot PLC ladder logic and control
- Diagnose and repair equipment correctly and in a timely manner
- Have working knowledge of 480/4160V Motors and Controls
- Experience with AC/DC drives
- Read and interpret Hydraulic schematics
- Experience with Instrumentation-calibrations and troubleshooting for level/pressure/flow control
- Troubleshoot, repair, and assemble control valves
- Work a flexible work schedule with occasional overtime
Requirements
- Must have experience with AC/DC drives (ABB, Allen Bradley, GE)
- Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC Ladder Logic
- Basic Relay Logic Knowledge of instrumentation, such as pressure transmitters, HART, and control valves
- Experience in a job environment around heat & heights
