About the position

The Credit Analyst position at V R Della IT Services involves conducting credit investigations and analyzing credit information related to loans, particularly in the mortgage and real estate sectors. The role supports the mortgage underwriting process by verifying and updating credit information as requested by clients, while also providing operational support to the production team. The analyst will handle inbound consumer and client calls, resolve customer issues, and perform data entry tasks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct credit investigations and analyze credit information pertaining to loans.
• Verify and update credit information as requested by clients.
• Provide operational support to the production team during the credit report supplement process.
• Resolve customer problems via telephone.
• Handle inbound consumer and client calls.
• Perform word processing, including general correspondence and data entry.
• Interface with customers regarding inquiries and complaints.
• Research documentation on the internet to assist with verification requests.
• Analyze credit files to determine the cause of missing data or changes to credit data.

Requirements

• 1 year of credit analysis experience (preferred).
• Basic typing skills (25 wpm).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a thorough understanding of customer satisfaction.
• PC literate with basic office skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Mortgage experience preferred.
• Background in credit reporting, loan servicing, or mortgage banking.
