About the position

The Customer Service Collections Agent role involves working in a call center environment focused on providing exceptional customer service while managing collections for vacation product accounts. The agent will engage with customers through outbound and inbound calls, helping them understand their accounts and encouraging timely payments. This position requires a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to meet specific call and payment arrangement goals.

Responsibilities

  • Make outbound and take inbound phone calls to customers.
  • Document customer interactions, conversations, and payment arrangements.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals for the department, including making 100 calls per day.
  • Negotiate payments via telephone and email.
  • Work weekends and holidays as needed.

Requirements

  • Call center experience required.
  • 2 years' experience in customer service preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of FDCPA, CFPB, FDIC regulations.
  • Experience in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel & Outlook).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in collections is a plus.
