Fun Town RV is seeking part-time Customer Service Operators to join our dynamic team. Founded in 2010, we have rapidly expanded to become Texas's largest RV chain, with 14 locations and plans for further growth. As a Customer Service Operator, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by contacting and communicating with customers to identify their RV needs. You will assist customers throughout their buying experience via telephone or email, ensuring they receive the best service possible. Your responsibilities will include maintaining regular follow-up with prospective and current clients, generating sales leads, and providing information about our products and services. You will also work closely with our Sales Professionals and assist the Communications Department as needed. This position requires a pleasant and outgoing personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional image. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, complete daily tasks set forth by upper management, and maintain a safe and clean work area for both customers and coworkers. You will be responsible for answering incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls, and taking messages as necessary. Additionally, you will perform clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, accepting orders, and scheduling sales appointments. Responsibilities

  • Contacting and communicating with customers to identify RV needs.
  • Pursuing all avenues to generate sales.
  • Assisting customers through the entire buying experience via telephone or email.
  • Maintaining regular follow-up with prospective and current clients.
  • Knowing our product as well as the competition.
  • Building value in our product.
  • Completing daily tasks set forth by upper management.
  • Assisting the Communications Department as needed.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
  • Working closely with our Sales Professionals.
  • Supplying information to callers and recording messages.
  • Answering incoming calls, greeting callers, providing information, transferring calls or taking messages as necessary.
  • Paging individuals to inform them of telephone calls, using paging or interoffice communication equipment.
  • Performing clerical duties, such as typing, proofreading, accepting orders, scheduling sales appointments.
  • Operating a paging system to relay in-house announcements or call individuals to phone.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of sales and customer service experience.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, achievement and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Capable of efficient planning and organizing.
  • Pleasant and professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills.
  • Computer skills - Google Mail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar, Internet software, and Sys2K (Dealer Management Software).
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
