About the position
The Call Center Customer Service Representative at Jack L. Marcus Co. is responsible for engaging with customers through phone calls and emails, addressing their inquiries, processing sales orders, and managing merchandise returns. This role requires maintaining expert knowledge of company products and services to effectively assist customers and ensure their satisfaction with the ordering process.
Responsibilities
- Providing introductory information to new customers
- Timely answering customer calls and entering customer orders
- Informing customers about additional product offerings
- Ensuring customer satisfaction with the ordering process
- Providing effective answers to customer inquiries regarding order status, returns, and refunds
- Escalating queries and concerns as necessary
- Entering customer orders into the JL Marcus sales system accurately
- Updating merchandise returns from Amazon and processing necessary credits to customers
Requirements
- Bilingual (preferred)
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient typing skills
- Excellent phone etiquette
- Effective communication skills
- Time management skills
