About the position

The Insurance Agent position at Acceptance Insurance focuses on selling nonstandard auto insurance to both new and existing customers. The role emphasizes building and maintaining customer relationships to achieve sales goals, ensuring accurate transaction handling, and providing tailored insurance solutions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new business and maintain current business levels to achieve or exceed sales production goals.
• Expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers to meet agreed production goals.
• Accurately account for all currency transactions and ensure timely delivery of deposits to the bank with scanned documentation in the agency management system.
• Quickly connect and build client relationships, educating and advising customers on suitable insurance products.

Requirements

• Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license preferred (but not required).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Sales or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
• Excellent follow-up and multi-tasking skills.
• Ambitious professional motivated by opportunities for advancement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
