About the position

The Call Center Representative at AbsoluteCare is responsible for managing patient interactions over the phone, ensuring a smooth flow of communication and scheduling for patients. This role emphasizes patient advocacy, coordination of care, and providing solutions to patient inquiries, all while maintaining high standards of customer service. The representative will work in a supportive environment focused on delivering comprehensive care to vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient flow over the telephone and greet patients courteously.
  • Facilitate communication and visits in the office as a patient advocate.
  • Manage patient schedules and monitor financial transactions.
  • Handle large volumes of inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
  • Follow communication scripts for various topics and identify customer needs.
  • Clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions or alternatives.
  • Meet personal and team qualitative and quantitative targets.
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers and offer assistance.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in a patient-centered medical home preferred.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and phone etiquette.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of calls in a timely manner.
