About the position

The Call Center Representative PRN at HCA Healthcare Laboratory Services is responsible for providing front-line client support, facilitating laboratory information exchange through effective communication and documentation. This role involves assisting with account setups, dispatching phlebotomists, and delivering critical results to clinicians, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front line client support to facilitate laboratory information exchange through handling of incoming and outgoing telephone interactions.
  • Assist in the setup of new accounts by providing pricing information to new clients.
  • Dispatch phlebotomists across Miami/Ft. Lauderdale for requested appointments.
  • Deliver critical results to clinicians and the state of Florida.
  • Perform duties consistent with written procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the department in achieving goals for service, quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, patient satisfaction, and a healthy work environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of call center experience required.
  • Vocational/Technical diploma preferred.
