About the position

As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls to assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service. This part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality customer support, particularly for pet-related services.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls professionally and provide information about products or services
  • Make outbound calls to follow up on customer inquiries and assist pet parents in completing their pet's microchip registrations
  • Resolve customer complaints or concerns with patience and empathy
  • Utilize computer systems to track customer interactions, record details of inquiries, complaints, or comments
  • Identify and escalate priority issues to the appropriate team member
  • Meet performance metrics such as call handling time, productivity, and quality standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to actively listen to customers
  • Proficiency in data entry and navigating computer systems efficiently
  • Experience in conflict management and problem-solving
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a plus
  • Love of pets is a major plus!
