About the position

The Alarm Monitoring Representative at Securitas Technology plays a crucial role in the 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center, providing exceptional service by responding to alarm signals and managing alarm events. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to act quickly and accurately in emergency situations, similar to a 911 dispatcher. The role involves working various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the safety and security of clients.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all incoming alarm signals in the automation software according to documented procedures.
• Notify the authorities and call a list of contacts when deemed appropriate.
• Log all information into the automation system immediately and accurately.
• Answer the multi-line telephone system.
• Ensure confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required, some college preferred.
• 1-3 years' work experience preferred.
• Ability to type 30+ words a minute.
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform duties with a high degree of urgency and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• A positive attitude of teamwork and continuous improvement.
