About the position

The Alarm Monitoring Representative at Securitas Technology plays a crucial role in the 24/7 Alarm Monitoring Center, ensuring the safety and security of clients by responding to alarm signals and managing emergency situations. This position requires exceptional customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, similar to that of a 911 emergency dispatcher.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all incoming alarm signals in the automation software according to documented procedures.
• Notify the authorities and call a list of contacts when deemed appropriate.
• Log all information into the automation system immediately and accurately.
• Answer the multi-line telephone system.
• Ensure confidentiality of customer information at all times.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required, some college preferred.
• 1-3 years' work experience preferred.
• Ability to type 30+ words a minute.
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to perform duties with a high degree of urgency and accuracy.
• Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• A positive attitude of teamwork and continuous improvement.
