About the position

The Call Center Reservation Agent at Grand Sierra Resort is responsible for assisting guests in booking their accommodations and providing information about the resort's services. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced call center environment.

Responsibilities

  • Listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice.
  • Answer questions and offer assistance to provide guest satisfaction.
  • Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, hotel services, directions to local attractions, and more.
  • Process requests from guests, including booking, canceling, or modifying room reservations.
  • Make deposits, check e-mail, make rate comparisons, and handle department mail as part of side work.
  • Assist guests with faxes, telephone calls, mail, packages, and directions.
  • Address questions or problems guests may have regarding their room or account.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service skills on both the phone and in person.
  • Ability to multi-task between different software programs for room reservations, PBX, and event ticketing.
  • 2 years of customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Proactive and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding coordination and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred but not required.
