About the position

The Spectrum Customer Service Sales Representative - Inbound Sales Representative is responsible for maximizing sales opportunities by effectively handling inbound sales calls. The role focuses on acquiring new residential customers and upselling additional products and services to existing customers, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction during sales transactions.
• Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales activity goals using effective telephone selling techniques.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to inbound sales calls as per call handling metrics.
• Sell products and services to prospective customers and maximize revenue from existing customers.
• Identify and maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Learn and master order processing and billing systems for new sales order entry.
• Explain all products and services to existing and prospective customers.
• Acquire knowledge of competitors' pricing and products for effective comparisons.
• Promote current marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Work with other departments to resolve customer issues as necessary.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at a high level.
• Strong sales experience.
• Proficient in computer use, including Windows and Word.
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute and knowledge of telephone systems and ten-key adding machines.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle customer service inquiries effectively.
• Knowledge of general office procedures, basic mathematics, and bookkeeping.
• Stable employment history.
