The Call Center Scheduler/Medical Records position at Arizona Liver Health involves managing patient scheduling and medical records efficiently. Responsibilities

  • Perform telephonic patient scheduling to handle patient needs and requests efficiently.
  • Schedule initial and follow-up appointments to ensure optimal use of provider time.
  • Conduct patient pre-registration by accessing and updating patient information.
  • Perform data entry and appointment confirmation to maintain schedule accuracy.
  • Answer and screen incoming appointment-related calls, scheduling interpreters, and directing calls appropriately.
  • Maintain effective communication with office staff and providers across health centers.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with the Privacy Act and HIPAA.
  • File and scan laboratory, radiology, and other reports in the EHR within prescribed timelines.
  • Route clinical reports to appropriate clinic staff and outside parties.
  • Attend to all medical records requests and send records to requesting parties via mail or electronically.
  • Manage incoming faxes and route them to appropriate clinic staff, following up on failed faxes as necessary.
  • Demonstrate punctuality and maintain good attendance while working full scheduled shifts.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Windows.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with patients, providers, and third-party vendors.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Impeccable written and oral communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) highly preferred.
