About the position

The Call Center Supervisor at Automated Health Systems will lead and support a state-wide customer service and contact center focused on assisting with inquiries related to Maryland Medicaid and associated programs. This role requires a team-oriented professional with a strong background in healthcare and managed care, as well as experience in supervising call center operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the customer service and contact center team.
  • Assist with inquiries regarding Maryland Medicaid and related programs.
  • Coach and develop staff to enhance performance and service quality.
  • Oversee call center operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Foster a team-oriented and professional work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience in a direct call center supervisory position.
  • Demonstrated skills in coaching and staff development.
  • Minimum of two years' experience with call center operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Associate degree preferred or equivalent job-related experience/training.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
