About the position
The Camp Counselor position at Camp Bow Wow Sandy involves providing care for dogs in a daycare setting, ensuring a safe and clean environment while engaging with pets and their owners. Responsibilities
- Monitor dogs in the play yard to ensure safety and engagement.
- Maintain a clean environment by performing heavy cleaning tasks.
- Feed and clean cabins for the dogs.
- Lift heavy items such as dog food and supplies.
- Constantly walk and interact with dogs and team members.
- Provide excellent customer service to pet parents.
- Manage schedules and appointments for dog check-ins and check-outs.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift dog food and supplies.
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for the entire shift.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in dog handling (1 year preferred).
