There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
At Camp KEFF, friendship is fueled by FUN, and the fun starts with our creative, energetic, and dedicated team! We are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to support children in their growth, helping them build self-esteem, forge friendships, and align their interests with their skills, all while having an outrageous summer fun experience. Camp KEFF, part of the Peninsula Jewish Community Center (PJCC), has been providing outstanding summer, fall, winter, and spring programs for youth from preschool to grade 11 for over five decades. Our camp offers a safe and nurturing environment where youth and teens can play, grow, and embrace their authentic selves. Each year, hundreds of campers participate in our week-long sessions, which are infused with Jewish values and inspire them to make the world a better place. All our camps are accredited by the American Camp Association. As a Camp Counselor, you will be at the heart of Camp KEFF programs. Under the direction of the Camp Director, you will work to ensure that each child feels welcome, safe, and loved through daily interactions. This role provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of children while also developing valuable professional skills and gaining program planning experience. You will be responsible for the emotional and physical safety of the children, resolving conflicts within the group, and supporting staff from vendors by assisting with group and behavior management of campers during programming. Engaging with campers and working collaboratively with other staff members to support the goals and spirit of Camp KEFF programming is essential. Upholding the mission and values of the PJCC and Camp KEFF is a key aspect of this role.
