About the position

The Camp Program Manager at Wesley Woods Camp and Retreat Center is responsible for leading and managing year-round youth and family programs, as well as summer camp activities. This role emphasizes the mission of developing Christian leaders and transforming lives through intentional programming and community engagement. The Camp Program Manager will work closely with the Program Ministry Team and report directly to the Wesley Woods Site Director, ensuring that all activities align with the organization's core values and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, supervise, promote, and evaluate year-round youth and family programs.
  • Oversee and manage the summer camp ministry, including recruitment and training of staff.
  • Coordinate food service requests with the Food Service Manager.
  • Serve as a guest group host and program facilitator during events.
  • Assist in the delivery of all Wesley Woods program events and perform facility cleaning as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the organization and the broader community.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 25 years old (ACA Requirement).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least three years of job-related experience.
  • Dedicated Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and networks.
  • High level of enthusiasm and energy.
  • Ability to lead group activities and work collaboratively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience as a summer staff member of an outdoor ministry site.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to play guitar and/or piano and lead group singing.
  • Certifications in Group Facilitation, Lifeguarding Instructor Certification, CPR, and First Aid.
