Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple self-checkout registers while ensuring outstanding customer experience.
  • Greet customers with eye contact and a smile, acknowledging their presence promptly.
  • Complete transactions accurately and efficiently, engaging customers in appropriate conversation.
  • Assist customers with bagging merchandise and handling large or heavy items as needed.
  • Cross-train and work in other areas of the store as required.

Requirements

  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
  • Quick thinking to answer customer questions.
