About the position
The Campus Childcare Coordinator at 12Stone Church is responsible for leading a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5th grade during church events. This part-time role involves managing childcare staff, ensuring proper ratios, and coordinating with campus staff to prepare for events. The coordinator is expected to be approachable, flexible, and passionate about providing excellent care for families within the church community.
Responsibilities
- Direct and lead childcare workers in providing an excellent and safe environment for kids.
- Manage H.R. Software for scheduling and approving shifts in a timely manner.
- Approve childcare worker timecards and verify clock in and clock out times.
- Screen new worker applicants and set up interviews with the SF pastor.
- Work with other campuses to help staff global events.
- Ensure curriculum and supplies are ready for childcare events.
- Know and maintain appropriate ratios when scheduling workers.
- Communicate with campus staff for upcoming events, ensuring proper space and supplies are available.
- Build a rapport with campus staff and keep an open line of communication.
- Keep track of registration numbers for events.
- Ensure the childcare environment is safe and clean.
- Attend meetings requested by the campuses and monthly All Staff meetings.
- Be available to meet with the supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience with young children.
- Organizational experience in leading staff or volunteers.
- Must pass a background check.
Nice-to-haves
- Preferable experience working in a Childcare or Daycare Center.
- Proficient in technology/computer skills.
- Training in first aid and CPR.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
