The Campus Director at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of campus operations, including facilities management, community engagement, and safety protocols. This role involves managing external room rentals, supervising the Campus Operations Manager and Director of Safety & Security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance campus environments and event experiences. The Campus Director plays a crucial role in ensuring high service standards, maintaining a secure environment, and fostering positive relationships with the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oversight and coordination across facilities, community engagement, campus logistics, and safety.
  • Manage external room rentals and supervise the Campus Operations Manager and Director of Safety & Security.
  • Collaborate with facilities management to identify and prioritize campus maintenance needs.
  • Conduct quarterly audits for safety, ADA compliance, and accessibility.
  • Develop and implement a room rental strategy to optimize usage and revenue.
  • Lead and coordinate community events on campus, collaborating with local organizations.
  • Act as executive manager on event days, ensuring smooth event execution.
  • Conduct quarterly performance and development reviews with direct reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency protocols.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of equivalent experience in administration, community relations, or campus operations with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to build and sustain relationships with community partners and campus stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in higher education administration.
