About the position

As a Global Finance Accountant Summer Associate at Capital Group, you will engage actively within the Global Finance organization, collaborating with various teams to provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply your technical and interpersonal skills while contributing meaningfully to the team. Success in this position may lead to a full-time offer as an Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Assist with various accounting and financial reporting tasks, completing audit/regulatory requirements
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research complex accounting matters
• Develop an understanding of business operations and key drivers
• Seek opportunities to streamline and improve the efficiency of reporting and processes
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Currently a junior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Interest in pursuing a career in accounting
• Demonstrated leadership in extra-curricular activities
• Ability to express ideas effectively and interact professionally with others
• Continuous learner with a hunger for knowledge
