The Campus Operations Coordinator at Chamberlain University plays a crucial role in providing administrative support for the operations of the campus. This position encompasses a wide range of clerical, office, and general oversight work, ensuring that the campus runs smoothly and efficiently. The Campus Operations Coordinator will report directly to the Campus President and will be responsible for assisting with the management of daily operational activities. This includes acting as the primary point of contact for facility management, which involves maintaining relationships with landlords, co-located businesses, and facilities vendors. In addition to these responsibilities, the Campus Operations Coordinator will serve as the campus Incident Coordinator (IC). This role includes overseeing emergency preparedness, managing the SIREN alert system, and developing business continuity plans. The coordinator will also coordinate and support on-campus events, ensuring that they are executed successfully and in compliance with regulatory standards. Administrative support is a key aspect of this position, which includes typing correspondence, memos, and reports, as well as reviewing records and reports for accuracy and completeness. The Campus Operations Coordinator will be tasked with researching and developing resources that create timely and efficient workflows, maximizing office productivity through proficient use of appropriate software applications. Identifying administrative needs and developing appropriate solutions or recommendations will also be part of the role. The coordinator will handle inquiries, manage difficult calls with discretion, and maintain calendars for the supervisor and/or department. Maintaining contact with customers and outside vendors is essential, and the coordinator will complete other projects and duties as assigned. This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority and requires compliance with all policies and standards.
