About the position

The Campus Supervisor position at Alameda Community Learning Center involves supervising and monitoring student activities on the middle/high school campus and in associated areas. The role is essential for maintaining a safe and orderly environment, ensuring compliance with school regulations, and providing support to students. The position requires effective communication and behavior management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with school personnel and students.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor activities in The Center and on the campus.
  • Direct student activities in hallways, restrooms, and adjacent areas.
  • Control and monitor unauthorized persons on campus and in parking areas.
  • Assist and direct campus visitors to authorized parking and appropriate offices.
  • Inspect and monitor campus and parking areas for safety hazards and inappropriate behaviors.
  • Enforce school regulations regarding student activities.
  • Counsel and advise students on rule violations.
  • Perform behavior management functions using positive behavior interventions.
  • Contact law enforcement agencies as needed for campus security.
  • Assist ill students by escorting them to the main office.
  • Prepare required reports and participate in staff development activities.

Requirements

  • One year of experience working with adolescent age students in campus supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
